What is neurotherapy?
Neurotherapy, also known as neurofeedback, is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that helps regulate brain function using real-time feedback from brainwave activity. It trains your brain to form healthier patterns, improving focus, mood, memory, and overall performance.
How does neurofeedback work?
During a neurofeedback session, sensors are placed on your scalp to monitor brainwave activity. As your brain shifts into healthier patterns, the system rewards it through visual or auditory feedback. Over time, this training helps your brain self-regulate, improving conditions like ADHD, anxiety, sleep problems, and more.
Is neurofeedback safe?
Yes. Neurofeedback is a safe and well-researched therapy used for decades with no harmful side effects. It’s non-invasive, painless, and suitable for children, teens, and adults.
What is a QEEG Brain Map?
A Quantitative EEG (QEEG), or Brain Map, is a non-invasive scan that measures your brainwave patterns in real time. It helps identify which areas of the brain are overactive, underactive, or dysregulated so we can create a customized treatment plan for your specific symptoms and goals.
How many neurofeedback sessions will I need?
Most clients begin noticing improvements within 6–10 sessions. However, lasting brain changes typically require 20–40 sessions, depending on the condition being treated and individual progress. A brain map and consultation help determine your best course of care.
What is brain stimulation therapy?
Brain stimulation therapy (tDCS/tACS) uses low-level electrical impulses to activate areas of the brain that are underperforming. It helps improve memory, attention, emotional stability, and recovery from brain injuries and stroke.
What does brain stimulation feel like?
Most people feel a mild tingling sensation or nothing at all. The stimulation is very gentle and sessions last 20–30 minutes. It is completely non-invasive and well tolerated by most individuals.
Who benefits from brain stimulation therapy?
Brain stimulation can support individuals with ADHD, depression, anxiety, brain fog, post-concussion symptoms, cognitive decline, and learning difficulties. It can also enhance mental performance for students, athletes, and professionals.
What is photobiomodulation (light therapy)?
Photobiomodulation (PBM), also called red light or near-infrared light therapy, delivers light waves to the brain to reduce inflammation, increase cellular energy (ATP), and support healing. It’s particularly effective for brain fog, memory loss, mood issues, concussion recovery, and post-COVID symptoms.
Is light therapy safe?
Yes. PBM is FDA-cleared for brain applications and is completely non-invasive, painless, and safe. It is supported by peer-reviewed research showing its effectiveness in improving cognitive performance, mood, and neuroprotection.
Can these treatments help with anxiety or depression?
Absolutely. Neurofeedback, brain stimulation, and PBM each support emotional regulation by improving brain communication, reducing overactive stress responses, and boosting brain resilience. Many clients experience reduced anxiety, fewer mood swings, and improved mental calm.
Do you treat ADHD in children and adults?
Yes. We treat ADHD in both children and adults using personalized neurotherapy and brain training methods. These treatments improve focus, attention, self-regulation, and impulse control without medication.
Can neurotherapy help with memory loss or brain fog?
Yes. Many clients struggling with post-COVID brain fog, age-related memory decline, or brain injury report better clarity, focus, and recall after consistent treatment. Our therapies support brain healing and neuroplasticity.
Can these treatments help after a concussion or brain injury?
Yes. Neurofeedback, brain stimulation, and PBM are all effective in supporting recovery after TBI or concussion. They help re-regulate brainwaves, reduce inflammation, and restore focus, coordination, and mood.
Do you offer stroke recovery support?
Yes. We work with stroke survivors to improve cognitive function, memory, speech, and emotional regulation using a combination of brain-based therapies personalized to each individual’s recovery needs.
Are these treatments covered by insurance?
We do not currently bill insurance directly. However, we can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement or HSA/FSA claims. We’re happy to discuss flexible payment options to fit your needs.
Is there an age limit for treatment?
No. We work with clients as young as 5 years old and support adults well into their senior years. Every plan is customized based on the individual's brain map, history, and wellness goals.
